| Cosmetic Firm Epila apologizes for using the image of a convicted terrorist |
A Turkish cosmetic company Epila used the image of Al-Qaeda leader
Khalid Shiekh Muhammad in an advertisement of its product to make the product
famous…The company apologized to its customers for what they did and said they
didn’t know that is the image of a 9/11 convicted mastermind terrorist.
The reason of using that image (as told by the company)
was that its product helps get rid of body hair…Since Khalid Shiekh Muhammad
has got so much hair on his body (as seen in the image), that is why the
company considered that image best to fit for its product advertisement.
