You would be shocked to learn a living creature stayed in a human's nose for so many days. Of course, this incident happened with a Scottish woman when she returned home after touring Vietnam and Cambodia.
A 24 year old Scottish woman Daniela Liverani had been suffering from nosebleeds and she though a leaking blood vessel was the cause. One day when she was taking shower, she found something in her nose. She thought it was a blood clot, but in fact it was a large parasite. She immediately called in the emergency services and had that parasite pulled out of her nose. It was a 3-inch leech that had been sucking Daniela's blood in her nose for a month, and had made her life miserable.
Daniela does not have any problem at the moment, but indeed she is still scared of that incident.
